NGO India

Everyone at their own level can help in constructing a better life. Whether it’s next door or on the other side of the world,
we all live on the same planet.

Crazylibellule and the poppies have chosen to support the INDP (Intercultural Network for Development and Peace) an independent NGO in India,
by means of a vegetable garden aimed at bringing aid to the Dalits population near to Pondicherry.

Created 10 years ago by a Franco-Indian man, Augustin Jaykumar Brutus, this NGO, Charitable Trust, is based in Pondicherry and employs thirty social contractors.
It provides ground aid in education and cultivation to Indians living below the poverty line and to the Dalits and tribal populations.
It also develops actions in favour of their economic development by means of micro credits and/or help in the rehabilitation
of their traditional know-how.

This is the case for the land around the LATOUR village in the Tamil Nadu region, located between Chennai and Pondicherry.
Thanks to the financial support of Louise Entreprises, twenty or so families are going to be able to preserve, protect
(from floods and recuperation by other land owners) and cultivate the land on which they have survived for several generations.

The exploitation and the development of this vegetable garden on fertile soil, growing a variety of fruits and vegetables, is dedicated
not only to helping these populations maintain their rural way of life (preventing an exodus to cities and shanty towns) but also to regaining
their financial autonomy and their dignity today and tomorrow for their children.

Louise Entreprises is a partner, which by this act of solidarity, is acting directly in the interest of a durable economic and social development project,
a project helping to build a peaceful world.
